Instructions
Step 1 - Use Microsoft Sync to set up a Team for your class.
Step 2 - Go into the Teams application find the Team with your course title. Click on it, and make sure it is Activated
Step 3 - Click on the ... (More Menu) next to the title of your Team in the left hand navigation
Step 4 - Click on Copy Link
Step 5 - Click Copy Link
Step 6 - Post the link somewhere findable in your Canvas course. In this example I created a Module for the link specifically and added it to my Modules area.
Step 7 - I then used the External Link option to add the link as an item to my module.
Step 8 - This is the final result
Outcome
You can access Teams from Canvas using the Teams URL.
