VPN

USNH provides "Virtual Private Networking" (VPN) functionality to all community members. Virtual private networking is a technology that, in short, makes a client computer function as if it were on a remote network.

In USNH’s implementation, the VPN serves two primary functions:

1. To allow remote users to access resources on the USNH (KSC, PSU and UNH) network, especially those that are restricted from the internet.

2. To allow access to users (both local and remote) to certain restricted networks. Certain applications require VPN access, even for users already on campus.
